Cherokee Bear Zoo & Exotic Animals

Cherokee Bear Zoo's young Grizzly, Anna

Cherokee Bear Zoo & Exotic Animals is the home of  many native Black Bears along with non-native Grizzlies, Lemurs, a Tiger, and a Monkey. Although the Black Bear is rarely seen in the wild of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park today Cherokee Bear Zoo offers you the experience of observing and filming these magnificent creatures in our open-habitat facilities. Other animals of interest are a rare Albino Groundhog, and a Red Raccoon. They also offer a Petting Zoo so each child can have the first-hand experience of feeding the Goats. They almost always have Baby Goats that will delight old and young alike. Located in downtown Cherokee next to Burger King.
