WCU Mountain Heritage Center

Founded in 1979, the Mountain Heritage Center celebrates the natural and cultural heritage of the southern Appalachian region and is located on the ground floor of the H. F. Robinson Administration Building at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. Its collection consists of over 10,000 regional artifacts including many agricultural implements, logging and woodworking tools, textiles, and transportation equipment.
