Indian Creek Falls

Beautiful 25 foot high Indian Creek Falls is located about 1 mile from the parking area at Deep Creek in Bryson City, North Carolina. You will cross one bridge and just before you cross the second bridge turn right. Indian Creek Falls is located midway up the hill. This hike is easy at the beginning with a couple of small hills toward the end.

Tom's Branch Falls

Located approximately 3/10 from the Deep Creek parking area Tom's Branch Falls are about 80 feet high, but the true height of the falls are now hidden with foliage. This hike is very easy.

Juney Whank Falls

Also located 3/10 mile from the parking lot is Juney Whank Falls. The hike to these falls though short in distance is fairly steep and would be considered easy/moderate for hikers in good health.

Bird Falls

The only way I have found to view these falls is by boat. From Almond Boat Park take your boat to the left up the Nantahala River. About a mile or so up on the left you will see these spectacular falls.

Driving directions coming from the east you will need to be on US 74 West, when the four-lane ends you come to a Y or fork in the road you will take 28 North towards Fontana and Robbinsville go .3 miles and make a right onto Almond Boat Park Road. The dock will be .8 mile at the end of this road.
