Wheels Through Time Museum
A collection of over 250 rare antique American Motorcycles and Automobiles, plus a memorabilia collection that unites the "art of the motorcycle" with the generation of Americans that enjoyed a lifestyle peculiar to the "American Mainstream." The Wheels Through Time Museum is also known as the "Museum That Runs." Most of these machines are driven regularly! The Wheels Through Time "Decade Collection" is an interesting cross section of important American automobiles in a timeline spanning nearly 100 years. Classics of the 30’s, such as Duesenberg, Packard and Cadillac are well represented here at the museum. Sixty plus racing motorcycles from 1909 to present, grace the museum including a racing collection and a special military collection. Motorcycles played an important part in both World Wars. They replaced the mounted soldier by 1917. In World War II, Harley Davidson and Indian produced over 100,000 war models. Few have survived. Pre-war models from 1929 – 1939 bridge the gap from old technology to modern technology. Harley Davidson Knuckhead is truly the grandfather of the modern motorcycles.
